With over 7 years of experience in community engagement and development, Jamad defines herself as a community advocate and navigator. She enjoys challenging the system by using anti-oppressive and decolonial frameworks to empower self-determination and resilience. In her work with communities, Jamad is guided by the phrase “knowledge is power and community is strength”.
In her spare time, Jamad can be found at local eateries enjoying the sights and sounds of our city. She is supported by her family, partner, and mischievous cat Tino.
