September 30 is the annual National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, which serves as a day of remembrance, reflection and action. The day honours the children who never returned home from the institutions known as Residential Schools, Survivors, their families and communities.
Join us on September 8, from noon – 1 p.m. (MST) for a virtual learning session on planning meaningful communications and engagement for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The session will be presented by pipikwan pehtakwan’s very own Communications Manager, Michelle Lean, and Engagement Associate, Peyton Meters.
The presenters will cover:
- Things to think about when engaging and communicating with your audiences on Truth and Reconciliation.
- Questions and conversations to have with your leadership team.
- Ideas on how to plan for and execute initiatives for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
- Resources for learning, unlearning and creating awareness about Truth and Reconciliation.
You will leave the session feeling more prepared to have the right conversations and to be intentional in your communications and engagement strategies for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
